Eleanor Roosevelt said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” That quote has been my favorite for many years. It truly gives you a sense of what you can have in your life if you dream and believe.

I grew up in a small town in the middle of Nebraska, surrounded by farming and ranching families. Each spring, the farmers plowed their fields and put seeds in the ground with the belief that they would have an amazing harvest in the fall. Each fall, the ranchers would work their cattle, sort them and pair them up with a bull in the pen with the belief that they would have new calves in the spring to increase their herd or sell. Looking back on that environment and the constant cycles of belief, I am amazed at how that was preparing me for my business with PPLSI without me even knowing it.

I joined PPLSI 19 years ago with the belief that I could create an income and a business that would allow me to have time for my family. When I joined, my daughters, Trace and Tori, were 1 and 3. I was working three different jobs to make ends meet. I am a physical therapist, and I worked in a hospital, in home health and in my own consulting company. I had income (though it never seemed like enough) but I didn’t have the life I wanted. I was introduced to PPLSI through a group presentation for a company that I was consulting for, and at the end of the presentation, I walked up to the presenter and asked how I could get the LegalShield Membership and “did he need more people to talk about this?” I joined a week later. That was the beginning of the journey. And it has been a journey; some great things have happened, and some not-so-great things have happened, but everything has been part of this journey.

The journey now has started to yield some of my dreams. With both daughters in college now, their schedules and activities keep me busier than ever. The best part of this is that I can be present for them and help them create and meet their goals. They have been my inspiration to keep going on the journey, and they helped me meet my dreams within this company. My biggest dream is now becoming a reality, as I am back home to Nebraska, where I have met the love of my life because of this business, and I am building a home. This business is truly mobile, and I can continue to grow my business “back home” but at a slower pace, so I can enjoy all the blessings that are in my life.

My dream continues to expand and increase based on this business, and I am continually excited about what the future holds for us. What are you dreaming of?
