About

“We thank God every day for bringing PPLSI into our lives. We are so blessed to have met each other because of this business. We are so blessed because of the life it has given us. We are so blessed to have the security of knowing WE are in control of our income. This business allows us to dream and dream big!”

Those words were written by my husband, Paul Lemire, for our page in the 2012 edition of the Profiles of Success. When Paul used to talk about this business, he always said we had to “pinch ourselves” that we were living the way that we did.

You have all heard the phrase “easy now, hard later or hard now, easy later.” We chose the latter. We worked hard at our business in the beginning, writing good business and building a strong team. This not only gave us a solid residual income, but we were able to set our own schedule and create the life we wanted to live. And boy, did we live life!

Our lives dramatically changed in 2012. Mid-February 2012, I was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer. On March 28, 2012, I had a third of my lung removed. Still recovering from my thoracotomy, less than three months later on June 19, my husband, Paul, who was 42 at the time, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Saving Paul’s life became our job! After 14 months of the battle of our lives, on August 6, 2013, Paul was called home. Two and a half months later, I was diagnosed with colon cancer and had surgery on November 18 to remove part of my colon.

For almost two solid years, we did not work. We often wondered what we would have done if we did not have this opportunity. Because of this business, we never wondered or worried for one single day about where our income was going to come from. We never had to worry about making a house payment, a car payment or taking care of the kids.

Paul and I went to EVERY one of each other’s doctor’s appointments, scans, chemo treatments and hospital stays. I will be forever grateful for PPLSI for allowing Paul and me to spend every single second together for every day we had to the end.

I encourage each and every one of you to work hard, never quit, and like Paul said, “Dream big.”
