About

When I first joined PPLSI, in September 1998, I was the custodial parent of an 8-year-old daughter, Kenya, and a 7-year-old son, Jibril. I was working for the phone company as a customer service rep, and before that, I spent eight years in retail. My wife, Angel, has a background in information technology. With the jobs I had and other small business ventures I started, I was living check to check when I first got started with PPLSI.

With the crazy work and life schedule I had then, I didn’t have a lot of time to put in my business, but I did have a burning desire for change! By following a system and work ethic, I was able build my business, and in 1999, I decided just to focus completely on my PPLSI business. Within the first two-and-half years, I earned the ring! In 2017, I married my angel, Angel Muhammad. She has two sons, Brian and Immanuel. Because of the PPLSI opportunity, we’re both able to work from home and have control of our schedule. We’re able to donate to causes we support and volunteer our time. I’ve earned all-expenses paid Performance Club incentive trips, and since we’ve been married, we’ve qualified for several! We’re excited about the future of the company and are both passionate about helping our team and others build successful PPLSI businesses!

One of my proudest moments was when my daughter got married in 2017, and I was able to write the check to pay for the wedding in full! I also enjoyed taking my mother to Hawaii on one of the company trips. Our family has expanded and now includes not only children but also grandchildren. Building a legacy for my family is a major part of my “why.” Outside of the money, our business has helped us to be an example to our family, friends, those we worship with, etc. on how hard work and determination pays off. It’s a great feeling to have control of your schedule and being able to earn residual income.

Our advice to new associates is to set goals, stay plugged in, do income-producing activities (IPAs) and constantly work on personal development. Work with your support and know that “no’s” aren’t personal and just are a part of the process.

Some of our recent accomplishments were earning a new ring level (another goal for this year), having more recruiting growth within our team and receiving an award for being among the Top Three for Network Vice President (NVP) — thanks North Carolina and South Carolina associates!

Angel and I extend special thanks to our team and the leaders on the team! We’re extremely grateful to Allah (God) for you all and for the PPLSI opportunity. Remember, the fortune is in you, so keep growing and challenging yourself! Our time is now!
